How does SinglesEvents work?

Browse events in your city, RSVP (or buy a ticket for paid events), show up and meet people. After (or before) an event, you can also build a dating profile, get matched with people based on mutual preferences, and message your matches.

Do I have to go to events to use the dating features?

No. You can use the Discover / Matches / Messages features without ever attending an event. But shared events and groups boost your score in the matching algorithm — so going to events is the best way to meet people you actually click with.

How many likes and messages do I get?

Free: 5 likes per day, 3 cold messages per day (messages to people you haven't matched with yet). Plus: unlimited. See the upgrade page for details.

What counts as a “cold message” vs a match message?

A cold message is the first message to someone you haven't matched with. Once you match, all messages between you are unlimited.

Can I get a refund for an event?

Event tickets are sold by the organizer, not by us. Ask the organizer first. If they don't respond or the event was cancelled without a refund, email [email protected].

Can I cancel my Plus subscription?

Yes, anytime, from your Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. No prorated refunds.

Is my email or contact info shared with other users?

No. Other users see your display name, photos, bio, age, and city. Your email is never shared. Event organizers see your email when you RSVP (so they can contact attendees).

How much does it cost to run events?

Free tier: $0/month, 1 group, 3 events/month, 5% platform fee on paid tickets. Pro: $55/month, 3 groups, 30 events/month, 0% platform fee. Plus: $129/month, 8 groups, 100 events/month, 0% platform fee.

How do I get paid for ticket sales?

You connect your bank account to Stripe via Stripe Connect (Express). Money from ticket sales flows directly to your Stripe account on the same schedule Stripe pays out (usually 2 business days).

Can I email my group members?

Yes — unlimited group emails via the organizer dashboard, with open tracking and unsubscribe handling. You can also import outside contacts (tier-capped: 2,500/mo Free, 10,000/mo Pro, 30,000/mo Plus) once you've run a verified event.

What does the WYSIWYG email composer look like?

TinyMCE-based editor with bold/italic, headings, lists, links, images, and tables. Compose, preview, send. An unsubscribe link and open-tracking pixel are auto-added to every email.

Can I cancel my organizer plan?

Yes. You'll drop to the Free tier at the end of the billing period. Your groups and events remain; only the feature limits and platform fee change.

Safety & trust

Are users verified?

Emails are verified. Photos are re-encoded server-side to strip embedded metadata. We don't do background checks. Please read our Safety Tips before meeting anyone.

What happens if I report someone?

Admins review every report. We can warn, suspend, or permanently ban users based on the violation. Reports are confidential — the reported user doesn't see who reported them.

Can I block someone?

Yes. Blocking removes mutual likes and matches, blocks their conversations with you, and prevents them from seeing your profile or contacting you again.
