Singles mixers

A room to mingle. Your own pace.

What is a singles mixer?

A singles mixer is a social gathering where guests can move between conversations rather than follow a fixed series of dates. It may be held at a lounge, café or another social venue. Some hosts provide introductions or icebreakers; others keep the format open.

Choose the atmosphere that suits you

Check the venue, age guidance, start time and expected format. A seated gathering and a busy evening party can feel very different. Ask the organizer about noise, accessibility and whether there is a quieter place to talk if those details matter to you.

An easy way to get started

Introduce yourself to the host when you arrive. Try joining an open conversation or asking someone how they found the group. You do not have to meet everyone, and you can politely move on when a conversation runs its course.

Find a group near you

Explore local groups by city and age range, then join the ones that interest you. Private groups show events after you join. Public groups let you browse first; you will need to join before RSVPing, joining an available waitlist or buying a ticket.

For a paid event, joining the group comes first; a ticket is only yours after checkout is complete. Joining does not charge you for a ticket, and you stay in the group if you leave checkout.

This is a format guide, not a scheduled event. Dates, prices and availability come from the individual listings. Search results show events you can access; private-group events require membership.

Common questions

How is a mixer different from speed dating?

Speed dating usually has timed introductions and rotations. A mixer generally lets guests choose when and with whom to talk.

Are drinks included?

Only if the event listing says so. Check what your ticket covers, whether purchases are separate and whether the venue has an age requirement.

Before booking, review the listing and safety tips. Use Contact organizer on the organizer or group page if you need clarification.
